There are only two possible explanations for this. Either Peggy had consumed too many Grey Goose martinis before going on the air causing her to say shit she doesn’t mean or Peggy says stuff in her column to forward the Republican agenda without regard to whether she believes those things or not.

This -- THIS -- is my central view of Republicans. Rarely is it laid so bare. Oh, sure, you get David Brooks setting you up with reasonable-sounding platitudes about normal people, and then turning straight into showering-money-on-the-wealthy territory. But how often do you get to look right at these con artists' dual faces at the same time?
