AVS Tears

Redstate has reached down down down to find a new topic to use in claiming the media hates them:
There is now ample evidence that Barack Obama's campaign has intentionally opted out of credit card address verification services ("AVS") thereby making it extremely easy to contribute to his campaign while the campaign can claim ignorance to theft, excessive contributions, improper contributions, and illegal contributions.
An acronym! Sounds like you know what you're talking about.

Why do I feel I could bet my right leg that you don't entirely understand the details of this system?

Or perhaps you're right - the Obama campaign has deliberately turned off an e-commerce feature preventing foreigners from contributing money to his campaign, and they're thinking "awesome, we're totally going to get away with this!"

They're doing all they can, but [sigh].
The media has patently, willfully failed to report this story.

There is nothing you or I can do to force the media to cover this story. Nothing.
I acknowledge that the entirety of my own post is based on a hunch. A hunch about the Obama campaign's tech credentials versus Erick Erickson's at Redstate (with a bunch of links from NRO, Hotair, and Ace).
