Jan. 23 (Bloomberg) -- President Barack Obama signed an executive order lifting the ban on sending U.S. government funds to organizations that provide abortion counseling with money from other sources as part of overseas family planning programs.To clarify: Reagan (and then Bush, after Clinton dropped it) made it illegal for the US to give any money to international groups that gave abortion counseling - even when the money for that work came from other sources!
Good fucking riddance.
